What a half-assed photo. Seriously. In contrast, Frightened Rabbit's show was 100%-assed rock n roll. This was last night at Southpaw. The 'Rabbit obviously has quite a following, because the 'paw was as full as I've ever seen it (in the five or six times I've been).There's no excuse for the way I've underutilized this place. For five years I've had this awesome venue within about six blocks and I barely get there once a year. Big open space, consistently excellent talent, a good bar, a friendly staff and a cool basement. They have shows most nights and most shows cost about ten bucks. Did I mention it's six blocks away and I go once a year?
